Soy wax is a clean-burning, non-toxic product that offers a smooth, opaque, semi-matte finish, giving each candle a refined look. As consumers become more conscious of the products they use, soy wax offers a safe, eco-friendly choice. It is non-toxic, clean-burning, and colorless, making it a premium option for those who prioritize health and sustainability. Soy wax, made from renewable soybeans, is a natural alternative to paraffin wax, which is derived from petroleum. One of the hallmarks of soy candles is their clean burn. Soy wax produces minimal soot and smoke, which means fewer pollutants and a healthier burn. It’s also a biodegradable and eco-friendly choice, aligning with our commitment to quality and sustainability. Let’s dive into the differences between soy and paraffin candles to help you better understand what makes our candles special. Soy wax is naturally denser than paraffin wax, meaning it has a tighter molecular structure. This density affects how soy candles burn and release fragrance compared to paraffin candles. Because soy wax doesn’t get as hot when burned, it tends to release fragrance more slowly and softly. Fragrance oils become more potent as the wax surrounding them heats up. In paraffin candles, the wax burns at a higher temperature, amplifying the fragrance oil and releasing it more intensely, creating a stronger hot throw that can fill a room quickly. However, paraffin's higher burn temperature and petroleum-based nature mean it releases more soot and can carry potentially harmful chemicals, making it less eco-friendly. In contrast, soy candles provide a slower, steadier burn. The cooler burn temperature gives soy candles a more subtle hot throw, which can result in a softer, naturally layered scent experience. While the hot throw may not immediately be as strong, the scent from a soy candle is cleaner, longer-lasting, and safer due to its non-toxic, eco-friendly nature. This phenomenon does not affect the candle's performance and is a natural characteristic of soy wax.  These natural textures reassure consumers that they are burning a naturally-derived product.
